Boutique hotel in vibrant uptown New Orleans is seeking a talented Director of Food and Beverage! If you're an experienced professional with a passion for exceptional food, outstanding service, and craft cocktails, this could be your next exciting opportunity.
Director of Food & Beverage Role:
- Deliver unparalleled food quality and guest service.
- Lead and develop both Front of House and Back of House restaurant, culinary, and beverage teams.
- Oversee the annual budget, seeking creative ways to drive profits and optimize savings.
- Manage labor costs and operating expenses efficiently.
- Foster relationships with guests, suppliers, and industry professionals.
- Schedule effectively, control purchasing and inventory, and implement innovative revenue strategies to maximize profitability.
- Set clear goals and strategies for achievement.
- Recruit, train, evaluate, motivate, coach, and discipline staff and managers.
- Stay competitive by benchmarking industry promotions and strategies.
- Maintain high standards for food handling, cleanliness, and maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Director of Food & Beverage Requirements:
- Upscale or boutique hotel experience, with strong expertise in bar management.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and supervisory skills, along with computer literacy.
- 3–5 years of relevant food and beverage experience in a similar leadership role.
