Our client is a leader in the electrical power distribution space. They are primed for aggressive expansion into new and existing markets. We are seeking a hands-on Design/Drafter Engineer to take the lead in coordinating and publishing drawings of switchboards and the associated manufacturing processes.

Electrical Drafter Responsibilities:

Analyze and prepare electrical drawings for distribution equipment and systems
Ensure all drawings comply to industry standards, codes and regs.
Review and approve schematics, layouts and components specs for accuracy.
Oversee the design of technical solutions to ensure that they meet customers' requirements and manufacturability

Electrical Drafter Qualifications:

Associates degree in related field
3 + years of experience as a Drafter or similar role in electrical distribution space
Strong proficiency in using CAD software
Knowledge of NEC, IEC and UL codes and standards
Experience with sheet metal fabrication, a plus
