Requirements
- Hands-on experience working the line, overseeing prep, and executing service in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Ability to lead by example during prep and service, ensuring quality, speed, and consistency across all stations
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 250 lbs., and perform cutting, bending, squatting, and climbing tasks
- Must be available for varied shifts based on business needs, including attendance at meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Culinary degree, diploma, or equivalent professional training required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale or fine-dining restaurant
- Food Handler’s Certification (as required by local health authorities)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage staff and kitchen operations under pressure
