We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Event Planning to lead our event operations. If you’re someone who thrives on leadership, loves creating memorable guest experiences, and excels at building high-performing teams, this role is for you.

Director of Event Planning Qualifications and Responsibilities

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in event planning and management in the hospitality industry
  • Direct experience managing weddings and high-profile events is a must
  • Proven leadership in managing teams and guiding performance
  • Ability to secure or maintain certifications: TIPs/BASSET, ServSafe Food Handler, City of Chicago Food Manager
  • Strong appreciation and knowledge of wine is strongly preferred
  • Skilled in client communication, conflict resolution, and proactive problem-solving
  • Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service requirements
