Our client in the commercial office furnishings space is seeking a VP of Sales to supplement their growth objectives. The most qualified candidates will have at least five years of sales experience in commercial office furnishings, along with the ability to drive a vision through individual contributions and team development.

VP of Sales Salary and Benefits:

  • Annual salary between $110k-$140k
  • Commission and bonus opportunities

VP of Sales Requirements:

  • At least five years with progressively more responsibility in commercial office furnishings
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies to drive sales, enhance customer experience, and meet financial objectives.
  • Experienced in leading business operations, spearheading development projects, and devising sales/marketing plans to boost brand visibility.
  • Strong at ensuring product adoption and retention through client needs assessments and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Proven ability to implement innovative recruitment and employee development initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for continued learning and improvements

VP of Sales Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with executive management to create annual growth plans aligned with strategy, objectives, and mission.
  • Develop strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet staffing needs, including talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, training, leadership development, and compensation.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and grow a skilled revenue generation team.
  • Present innovative budgets and strategies focused on scalable, recurring revenue growth through market and customer expansion.
  • Identify growth potential within current services and products to extend offerings.
  • Leverage personal network in A&D, CRE, and real estate to drive deal flow, partnerships, and closed sales.
  • Lead sales and business development teams, acting as a player/coach to acquire new customers and nurture existing relationships for increased revenue.
  • Participate in department meetings for trend analysis, pipeline management, bid strategy, lead generation, and strategic planning.
  • Analyze data trends, client feedback, market trends, and other insights to guide company growth decisions.
  • Implement advanced business systems and strategies, such as EOS, to improve processes.
  • Identify and promote innovations related to organizational efficiency, including AI automation.
