We are looking for an analytical Hotel Revenue Manager for a fast-growing hotel group. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience with a top-tier luxury or a well-known national hotel brand. You will oversee dynamic pricing, managing budget guidelines, providing support to leadership teams with the overall revenue management of our hotel properties. This position is based on-site at our corporate office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective revenue management strategies, optimizing pricing, and forecasting demand to ensure we achieve our financial and rapid growth goals.
Revenue Manager Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy.
- ·Set competitive room rates and adjust them based on market conditions and demand.
- Analyze competitor pricing and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Identify potential events and trends that could impact demand and forecasting.
- Manage hotel room inventory to ensure optimal occupancy and revenue.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to identify revenue opportunities and trends.
- Track customer trends and reservations.
- Monitor hotel revenue performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelors or Associates degree required; concentration in accounting or finance preferred
- Can create strong relationships with the hotel team and leadership
- Knowledge of revenue management concepts, and Accepted Accounting Principles
- Experience preferred with revenue management systems such as Oracle Hospitality Opera Cloud, HotelKey, RMAS (Revenue Management Solutions), MxM platform.
- Minimum 5+ years in the hotel industry. Luxury or nationally recognized brand preferred.
- Periodic overnight stays and travel required
- Could be required to work nights and weekends
