We are a fast-paced, high-quality dining establishment dedicated to providing exceptional food and service. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Restaurant Bookkeeper to manage our financial operations, including inventory validation, pricing, payroll, and tip allocation.

Restaurant Bookkeeper Pay + Benefits:

• Competitive salary based on experience, up to $70K

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoices.
• Perform pricing and inventory validation to maintain cost control and profitability.
• Process payroll and ensure accurate tip allocation in compliance with labor laws.
• Reconcile bank statements and track daily restaurant sales.
• Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and expense tracking.
• Work closely with management to optimize financial processes and cost management.

Restaurant Bookkeeper Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper in the restaurant industry.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and general accounting principles.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and pricing strategies.
• Experience handling payroll and tip distribution.
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Restaurant Bookkeeper Qualifications:

• 3+ years working in a bookkeeper/accounting role in the restaurant industry.
• Knowledge of restaurant tax regulations and compliance.
• Experience with POS systems (Toast, Square) and restaurant management software.
• Degree or certification in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
