Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager to join their Municipal Works Group. This is an excellent opportunity to become a valued member of a talented and collaborative team, contributing to meaningful projects alongside motivated professionals.

Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage public works projects by overseeing client relations, coordinating with agencies, and handling scheduling and budget management.
• Lead multidisciplinary technical teams to ensure project success.
• Act as the primary liaison between City staff and internal or external technical teams.
• Deliver project updates and proposals to clients, city councils, boards, and commissions.
• Develop engineering project proposals and task orders, outlining scope, schedule, and fees.
• Draft City Council Staff Reports and other relevant documentation.
• Recommend, establish, and implement project strategies, programs, procedures, and policies.
• Support public outreach efforts by preparing presentations and actively participating in public workshops.
• Knowledgeable with local, state, and federal regulations and requirements.

Senior Project Manager Requirements:

• California PE
• 10+ years of professional experience, including design and project management.
• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service to the public, development community, and City government staff.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Skilled in managing project schedules, scope, budgets, and teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery within budget constraints.
• Proficient in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting engineering reports and plans; coordinating the creation of engineering drawings, estimates, and specifications; and developing maps and charts that detail topographical contours, elevations, and structural relationships.
•  Experienced in setting horizontal and vertical alignments for streets and utility improvements, either independently or through coordination.
•  Work autonomously on both project management and technical issues.
• Proficient in AutoCAD
