We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join this team and help them implement and maximize their manufacturing equipment and processes.

This is a critical role that plays an instrumental part in the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Mechanical design work, drawings, and calculations related to repairs or improvement of capital assets
  • Troubleshooting of mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Drive process improvement Analysis
  • Project management of employees and contractors to ensure timely completion
  • Documentation of standards and processes
  • Making sure all employees are adhering to safety procedures and rules.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science
  • 5-10 Years’ Experience in Heavy Industry (Steel Industry Preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Experience with industry design software (Solidworks a plus)
