An established and leading Precision Timing & Frequency Technology Firm are looking for a Component Engineer

The Component Engineer is required to support the control of electronic part requirements, including:

1. Generation of Source Control Drawings (SCD’s)

2. Supplier Control Documentation Review

3. Part program requirements compliance (Program Approved parts lists/Nonconformance Reports/Test Documents)

4. Incoming Inspection Data Review

5. Vendor/Manufacturer QPL CofC

6. Part specific data package

7. Generation of Discrepant Material Report (DMR) and Resolution

8. Data Management (Configuration, logging and storage/maintain electronic data bases i.e. Product Lifecycle Management systems (PLM), Access Database)

9. Coordinate with Engineering, Material Control and Quality Assurance for disposition of part issues (i.e. GIDEP) & parts performance requirements.

10. Familiarization with EEE parts selection, characterization/evaluation, screening, prohibitive/restrictive usage, traceability/Lot control, Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA) and nuclear radiation requirements for space programs.

Education and Required Skills: BSEE and 7yrs Component Engineering background, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access Database and Product Lifecycle Management system.
