Prior to joining the team at Goodwin, Brian had worked in Restaurants and Hospitality from the time he was 16, spanning 30 years. He began his career at Bob Evans working as a part-time cook on nights and weekends while in high school. After college, Brian’s entrepreneurial spirit got him involved with Jimmy John’s in Indianapolis, IN which he grew to 8 stores over the course of 7 years. In 2018, Brian and a business partner brought the first World of Beer franchise to the state of Indiana, located in Indianapolis’ Mass Ave district. After selling his Jimmy John’s locations and World of Beer in late 2023, Brian met up with another Senior Recruiting Partner at Goodwin Recruiting, and the rest is history.
Brian has found that being a partner with Goodwin Recruiting has allowed him to continue building relationships and staying involved with the Food & Beverage sector while not having all the stress of managing the day-to-day operations. It is a true honor to be on this side of things and be able to impact clients’ businesses and change candidates’ lives.
When out of the office, Brian enjoys spending time with his loving & supporting wife, their Goldendoodle Mosleigh and traveling when possible. Both Brian and his spouse are advocates for the ocean & planet, love vacationing in the tropics and while vacationing, you will most likely find us underwater blowing bubbles taking in all the sights and sounds of a tropical reef. They are both PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors who love developing and sharing the underwater world with those new to the sport.
