We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support core accounting functions and assist in financial reporting and analysis. This role involves managing general ledger accounts, reconciling bank and sales reports, preparing journal entries, and supporting month- and year-end closings. You’ll also maintain prepaid and accrual schedules and assist with financial statement preparation and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support cash reconciliation and month-end close processes
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts
  • Generate financial statements and assist with variance analysis
  • Reconcile sales activity and assist with ad hoc reports or projects
  • Identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (Sage X3/100/500) preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
