Job Title: Senior Estimator

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Burtonsville, MD + hybrid options

Our client is a curtain wall manufacturer and architectural facade company that combines decades of construction experience with the latest innovations in building design. They are seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team. This role will be an on-site in the corporate office role with options for some hybrid work. Senior Estimator Primary Responsibilities:

• Access, gather, and structure construction drawings and project specifications.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and interpret construction documents.
• Analyze and summarize technical specifications for internal use.
• Create bid proposals that clearly outline technical scope and project specifics.
• Generate conceptual budgets and maintain a pricing database for unit cost references.
• Evaluate project scope to identify potential cost efficiencies.
• Conduct constructability reviews and provide actionable input to clients and design professionals.
• Issue bid packages, review and assess subcontractor and supplier submissions, negotiate terms, and ensure complete scope coverage.
• Oversee pre-construction cost estimates and budgets, including continuous improvement of internal estimating tools and templates.

Senior Estimator Required Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating. Candidates must have a background in engineering
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines
• Experience with curtain wall systems, metal paneling, or façade systems is highly desirable
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong verbal and written communication proficiency
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to responsibilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, digital take-off software, and Bluebeam
