We’re looking for a Head of Insurance to lead strategy, pricing, underwriting, and expansion for a fast-growing, mission-driven MGA in the non-standard auto space. You'll own and evolve a high-impact personal auto insurance product, starting in Texas and expanding into new markets.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead all insurance product functions (rates, rules, filings, forms)
- Drive profitability through pricing, underwriting, and risk strategy
- Launch products in new states (FL, AZ, IL, etc.)
- Collaborate across tech, ops, and regulatory teams
- Hire and manage external consultants and build your internal team
What You Bring:
- 7+ years in insurance; 2+ in product leadership
- Deep knowledge of non-standard auto
- Strong analytical chops (Excel; SQL is a plus)
- Experience with filings, product design, and MGA ops
- Bilingual in Spanish is required!
- Startup grit, scrappy mindset, and a heart for impact
