Sous Chef Qualifications:

Experience in Fast-Paced, High-Volume Upscale Restaurants (min 3 years)
Maintain a professional and welcoming attitude while at work to all guests and team members
Ability to produce a quality and consistent product, executing all the details, and focusing on daily operations
Plate presentation and standards
Organization and cost & product control are essential, in addition to ensuring the kitchen meets all health department standards for safe food handling

Sous Chef Experience:

3-4 years experience as a member of a culinary management team in a hotel, boutique hotel, or high-end fine dining
Proficiency in Microsoft applications and knowledge of Aloha POS is preferred
Willing to lead by example and have the ability to work independently and exercise judgment to resolve personnel and production issues
Prior experience as an Executive Sous Chef and a degree from a culinary arts training program or equivalent life experience preferably in a high-end, fine-dining establishment
