We are an established casual dining restaurant group committed to exceptional food quality and smooth kitchen operations. We are looking for passionate and driven Kitchen Managers to lead back-of-house operations, team performance, and food execution while maintaining our high standards.

Position Summary:

As a Kitchen Manager, you will oversee BOH operations, food quality, and kitchen team development to ensure efficiency, consistency, and a positive work culture. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong problem-solving skills, food cost and labor control expertise, and the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and mentor the BOH team, ensuring efficient operations and high food quality.
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and food costs to ensure profitability and waste control.
  • Effectively manage labor costs by creating efficient schedules, monitoring staffing needs, and controlling overtime.
  • Manage kitchen staff scheduling, performance, and development.
  • Work closely with FOH leadership to ensure seamless service and communication.
  • Control food and labor costs, manage prep schedules, and maintain food consistency to ensure financial success.

What They’re Looking For:

  • Tough-minded problem solvers who excel in high-volume kitchen environments.
  • 2+ years of BOH leadership experience in casual dining or high-volume kitchens.
  • Proven ability to control food and labor costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, labor cost management, and team leadership.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • 5-day work weeks, with many on 4-day work weeks based on restaurant performance.
  • Hourly rate boost for assistants – up to $2.50 per hour based on KPI achievement.
  • Performance-based bonus paid every period (13 periods per year).
  • Health Care – BC/BS coverage.
  • Short & Long-Term Disability – Paid by the company.
  • 1x Life Insurance Policy – Paid by the company.
  • PTO:
    • 2 weeks per year to start.
    • 3 weeks after 5 years.
    • 4 weeks after 10 years.
  • 401(k) with a 33% match, up to 3%.
