Are you a high performer with a fire in your belly, but stuck in a company that doesn't recognize your efforts? Our well established, local restaurant group is looking for a high energy hospitality pro to join our team. The AGM supports the GM and EC in delivering high-quality experiences, great-tasting food & drinks, and nurturing a phenomenal culture for the team and regulars. 

Assistant General Manager Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN AUSTIN (current or prior – THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE
  • 3-5+ Years Experience in a high-volume, scratch kitchen, upscale concept
  • Financial acumen – Develop budgets and action plans to achieve goals without hurting the guest or team member experience
  • Understanding of restaurant systems, methods, high standards, and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop and lead a team
  • Strong passion for food and beverage
  • Self Driven – ability and desire to keep learning & growing
  • Problem Solving Skills

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and manages all restaurant operations
  • Efficient optimization of profit via cogs, and labor
  • Builds forecasts, analyzes restaurant data, ensures guest interaction and satisfaction
  • Experience with Toast, Compeat, and R365 a considerable plus!
  • Follow best practices and guidelines to meet the standard
  • High level of professionalism, good judgment, and care for your people
  • Ensure the environment in the restaurant supports culture and integrity, and is a devoted mentor
  • Takes personal ownership of the restaurant, equipment, cleanliness, and sanitation
  • Must love people and be a part of a team
