Our client is seeking a Real Estate Controller. Join a dynamic team and lead financial excellence in the heart of New York City!
Real Estate Controller Key Qualifications & Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification required).
– 7+ years of real estate accounting experience, including a background at a Big Four accounting firm.
– Advanced proficiency in MRI software (or comparable property management accounting systems).
– In-depth knowledge of GAAP and real estate-specific accounting standards.
– Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with meticulous attention to detail and organizational agility.
– Proven track record of building, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
Real Estate Controller Additional Details:
– Full-time, Monday–Friday.
– On-site in the Financial District
– Competitive salary range of $150,000–$175,000 (commensurate with experience).
