Engineering Director – Platform & Cloud Infrastructure
This position is based in Spain.
We are seeking a Technical Engineering Director to join our office in Spain. This leadership role involves overseeing cloud infrastructure development, managing a high-performing technical team, and implementing best practices in DevOps, MLOps, and cloud-based SaaS deployments. The role requires strong technical expertise in platform engineering, automation, and scalability.
Engineering Director Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred)
- At least 5 years of industry experience in software engineering and cloud infrastructure
- Minimum 2 years leading DevOps and platform teams in a technology-driven company
- Proven experience deploying SaaS applications to Kubernetes
- Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Terraform to support deployment, scaling, and management
- Strong leadership skills, capable of managing teams of 10+ engineers
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Fluency in English and Spanish
