Assistant Director of Restaurant Operations – No Nights! No Weekends! Hybrid!

The Assistant Director of Restaurant Operations will provide comprehensive support to the leadership team with a primary focus on one location but with occasional responsibilities across our other restaurant venues. This hybrid role blends operational, administrative, and strategic support to ensure smooth day-to-day functions and long-term efficiency. Most work will be onsite, with flexibility for some remote tasks. This role requires excellent collaboration, adaptability, and attention to detail.

Assistant Director of Restaurant Operations Responsibilities:

  • Support basic financial tracking and reporting functions
  • Manage scheduling, payroll processes and coordination
  • Provide marketing support and content assistance
  • Perform administrative tasks and general office support
  • Maintain calendars, email, and oversee task management systems
  • Organize and manage a cloud-based file system
  • Handle pre-shift duties such as updating and printing menus
  • Manage and program the restaurant Point-of-Sale (POS) system
  • Collaborate with restaurant managers and team members

Assistant Director of Restaurant Operations Qualifications:

  • Previous high-level experience in restaurant operations, hospitality, or administrative roles
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency with digital tools (e.g., cloud file systems, calendar/task apps, POS systems)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to evolving responsibilities
  • Availability to work onsite most days, with some remote flexibility
