A prominent site and utility contractor in New England is looking to add a talented Estimator to our growing team on the North Shore.

Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Develop precise and competitive estimates for construction projects
  • Perform detailed take-offs to assess project scope and requirements
  • Prepare thorough project proposals for clients
  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure project success
  • Foster transparent communication with clients and subcontractors
  • Use Microsoft Word and Excel to create detailed estimating reports
  • Complete other estimating tasks as needed

Estimator Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the construction field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in estimating
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Microsoft Project
  • Experience with Carlson Takeoff or AutoCAD software
  • Familiarity with TOPCON GPS survey layout tools
  • Strong grasp of estimating methods, techniques, and software (e.g., HeavyBid)
