A prominent site and utility contractor in New England is looking to add a talented Estimator to our growing team on the North Shore.
Estimator Responsibilities:
- Develop precise and competitive estimates for construction projects
- Perform detailed take-offs to assess project scope and requirements
- Prepare thorough project proposals for clients
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure project success
- Foster transparent communication with clients and subcontractors
- Use Microsoft Word and Excel to create detailed estimating reports
- Complete other estimating tasks as needed
Estimator Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in the construction field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in estimating
- Strong knowledge of project management principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Microsoft Project
- Experience with Carlson Takeoff or AutoCAD software
- Familiarity with TOPCON GPS survey layout tools
- Strong grasp of estimating methods, techniques, and software (e.g., HeavyBid)
