We are a fast-growing and cutting-edge Mortgage company based out of New York. We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer who has overseen explosive growth before. We did 300 million in sales in 2022, and 1.2 Billion in 2024, and will hit 3 Billion by 2029

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in mortgage banking
  • Proven experience in hedging, secondary marketing, and risk management
  • Strong pricing strategy expertise—knows how to structure rates for competitive advantage
  • Experience leading high-growth mortgage lenders from mid-size to large-scale operations
  • Strong understanding of regulatory, investor, and liquidity requirements
  • Background in building financial and operational frameworks that enhance long-term profitability
  • MBA or CFA preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Leadership – Develop and implement financial SOPs, forecasting models, and profitability strategies to drive sustainable growth.
  • Capital Markets & Pricing Strategy – Optimize margin management, loan pricing, and hedge strategies to enhance competitive positioning.
  • Hedging & Risk Management – Oversee hedge effectiveness, pull-through risks, and asset sales to mitigate financial exposure.
  • Investor & Regulatory Relations – Strengthen relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and private investors to secure the best execution for our pipeline.
  • Branch & Business Model Optimization – Refine branch P&L structures, explore consumer direct channels, and optimize profitability by division.
  • Operational & Financial Structuring – Establish clear operational frameworks, compensation structures, and cost controls to enhance efficiency.
  • Scalability & Growth Planning – Work closely with leadership to position the company for private equity investment and multi-billion-dollar expansion.
